What is Mediation?

Mediation is a voluntary process in which two or more parties involved in a dispute work with an impartial party, the mediator, to settle their conflict.  The mediator will work to help each participant improve communications by encouraging active listening, healthy dialogue and a better understanding of the other party.

Ashanti Madlock Henderson creates an environment where clients can confidentially communicate about their dispute. Throughout the process, she works to focus the participants on their individual and joint interest and needs in an effort to facilitate the parties’ creation of comprehensive and mutually acceptable resolutions.
